Sublimation Printing Johor – All-Over Print on Microfiber
When you want a design that covers the shirt (front, back and sleeves) rather than a single logo, sublimation is the method to ask about. JC Print & Office Sdn Bhd offers sublimation printing in Johor on microfiber for T-shirts, polo shirts, F1 shirts and jerseys, and the minimum order is 1 piece.
JC Print started in 2011 and became JC Print & Office Sdn Bhd in 2019. We are an authorised reseller of Oren Sport, Rightway, Gildan, HYDT and Lefonse.
How sublimation works
In general, sublimation printing works like this: the design is printed with sublimation ink, then heat and pressure turn the ink into a gas that bonds with polyester fibres. Because it bonds with the fibre rather than sitting on top as a separate layer, sublimation needs polyester or microfiber fabric and does not work on cotton. It is commonly used for designs that run across the whole garment.

Microfiber fabrics for sublimation
Sublimation works on any of these microfiber fabrics:
- Eyelet – read more about eyelet fabric
- Pin dot
- RJPK
- Diamond
- Lycra
To choose, think about how the shirt will be used (a sports event, an office day, a campaign or a family day) and mention it when you ask for a quote. We can then list the fabric options for your order.
Adult, kids, ladies and Muslimah cuts
Sublimation is available in adult, kids, ladies and Muslimah cuts. This is worth knowing if your group includes children, or ladies who prefer a Muslimah cut with longer sleeves. Browse our Muslimah range and kids shirts for ideas.
Products you can sublimate
Sublimation is a process, not a single product. Ask about it for:
- T-shirts for company events, family days and campaigns
- Polo shirts with a corporate pattern or colour block
- F1 shirts for teams and events
- Jerseys for sports teams (see the next section)
If you are planning a family day, our family day custom shirt ideas may help with the design brief.
Sublimation printing vs sublimation jersey
This page covers the printing process across all garments. If you are kitting out a sports team and want help choosing jersey fabric and cuts for a full team kit, go to our sublimation jersey page, which walks through a team jersey order from start to finish.
Sublimation vs DTF
- Sublimation: the ink bonds with polyester fibres, so it needs microfiber and does not work on cotton. Commonly used for designs that cover the whole garment.
- DTF: the design is printed onto a film that is then heat-pressed onto the garment, so the print sits on the surface. Generally used on cotton as well as polyester.
As a rough guide: for a cotton T-shirt with a chest logo, ask about DTF printing. For a design across the whole shirt on microfiber, ask about sublimation. For a three-way comparison, read DTF vs sublimation vs silk screen.
